       Who are we?

We are an emerging enterprise based in Woodbridge

We offer work based activities for adults with learning disabilities

Currently funded part of Suffolk County Council

What are we aiming to be?

A Social Enterprise independent of SCC

Social enterprises are dynamic businesses with a social purpose working all around the UK

and internationally to deliver lasting social and environmental change.

Poppy’s pantry and Jamie Oliver have some thing in common, Social Enterprise.

Jamie Oliver is a champion for social enterprise, his restaurants "15" are all social enterprises.

Social enterprises are companies that are about more than profit, they have a social role within the local community, they are businesses with a social purpose.

Poppy’s Pantry is an emerging enterprise aiming to create work opportunities and activities, as well as work based employment training for people with learning disabilities. Currently we are funded through Suffolk County Council, Adult Community Services but aim to become a social enterprise, funding ourselves rather than relying on the council.

As Woodbridge Packaging Services we have been based in Melton, Suffolk since 2001. We have a light industrial workshop, where currently we package small light dry goods, for example the plastic counters for board games, as well as work for Potions and possibilities, we also do mailings for local companies, including, Suffolk Constabulary, SAVO etc.

We have grown from a day-care centre for people with learning disabilities to become an emerging enterprise, giving people with learning disabilities a valuable role within their local community.
